Knox Academy and East Lothian Council are delighted to announce that The ‘Jam Packed’ Computing Project is coming to deliver it’s first event in Scotland. The project is funded by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and RM Education. We’ve planned this 18-month tour with 18 free Jam Packed Community Computing Festivals.
The 3 events over 2 days are listed as Hack To The Future, Family Hack Jam and Raspberry Jam.
Tickets are free but you must register beforehand, using the Eventbrite links below, and bring along your ticket.
On Friday 29th May, teachers and volunteers are invited to join us as we deliver some Computing lessons with a group of primary pupils in the morning at Knox Academy as part of the Hack To The Future event. More details and tickets here: Hack to the Future
Teachers are also invited to a “Working Lunch” from 12:30 where they can look at some of the JamPacked materials.
The afternoon will be spent exploring how we can Hack Minecraft using a Raspberry Pi and Python.
You can also attend our Friday night Family Hack Jam between 6-9pm on the same day. Suitable for groups of adults and children: Family Hack Jam
Or if you want to discover more about the potential of the Raspberry Pi computer, why not spend some time at our Raspberry Jam event on Saturday 30th May?
You don’t need to bring along your own Raspberry Pi: Raspberry Jam
