Participate in the 2015 Technovation Challenge!
The Technovation Challenge is a fantastic program designed to inspire young women in technology & entrepreneurship. Girls (age 10-18) work in teams to develop an app and a business plan over three months (Feb – mid April). Each team works with a volunteer teacher / community leader and a professional woman mentor over, following 12 Technovation modules. The course culminates in a global competition, and the best teams are invited to San Francisco to pitch their app for a $10,000 funding prize.
Technovation has the ambitious goal of getting 200 girls from the UK to sign up for the challenge (by Feb 15, 2015), supported by 40 teachers & 40 professional woman mentors. Watch this short video to see testimonies from previous participants.
